Anti-drugs
The use of drugs in society has become a problem, not only for the user who is taking the drugs, but for their family, friends and workplace. It’s worth remembering that no-one who takes drugs starts out with the intention of getting hooked, but it is the very nature of the drug itself that cannot be controlled and eventually leads to the user becoming addicted. NOBULL has studied research which shows it’s possible to influence young people away from drug use by beginning to talk about the issues long before children might start experimenting. In this respect, NOBULL believes that primary school children need to be prepared for situations they'll encounter throughout their school life and beyond.
Drug education covers a large area that includes all illegal drugs, medicines, alcohol, tobacco and volatile substances such as glue. NOBULL will educate young children on the affects drugs can have on their bodies and how to say NO to peer pressure. |
